Objectives of the Department:
|

To disseminate theoretical knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to the students of SJCET through class room lecturers, seminars, paper presentations and other academic activities through a team of well qualified, dedicated , trained, caring and experienced faculty members.

To impart practical experience through laboratory experiments, project works, industrial visits and participation in consultancy works.

To encourage innovation, research and leadership in students through effective partnership with business, industry, community, government and international agencies.

To inculcate moral and ethical values in students through counseling, moral classes, personal and spiritual enrichment programmes.

To promote all round development of students through physical, mental, social, cultural and personal empowerment programmes.

About the Department:

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started at SJCET in the year 2004. The total strength in the first year (2004-05) was only 19 and the first batch passed out in the year 2007-08.The admission strength during subsequent years 2005-06, 2006-07 ,2007-08 and 2008-09 was 60 each.

The department now possesses full staff strength as per the AICTE norms. The department has set up all required laboratories independently in the Electrical Engineering Lab Complex A departmental library is functioning in Dept. block 2 for the benefit of staff members and students.
