A charitable group was formed by the 2005 batch students in November 2006 All 300 students in the five branches of the batch are actively involved in the project Mr. Rohit george Prakash of the second year is the student co-coordinator of the project and Mr.Jino Sebastian ,Senior Lecturer in computer science is the staff advisor
A 20-member working group is formed to collect evaluate and process the application forms of students with financial difficulties inside and outside the campus Other schemes under this project include technical advice /seminars for schools socially committed works for the community blood donations visit and assistance to orphanages and poor homes etc
In short period since the formation they have collected a reasonable amount of money from the staff and students of the college and other well wishers and given it to the needy around .The projects has created a sense of social awareness and concern among the students.

Major objectives:
- To provide training to youth to make them employable
- To conduct orientation programmes for housewives on the safe and effective use of domestic appliances
- To provide computer training to school students
- To propagate eco-friendliness and quality awareness
- To provide various engineering services to the community
- To provide counseling in matters relating to education of children ,purchase of machinery ,construction of house etc

Major objectives:
- To familiarize the students and faculty with the latest trends in industry .
- To arrange visits and training for students and faculty in industry
- To arrange special lectures on current topics by industry personnel
- To exchange staff between industry and college
- To undertake joint research and development work
- To assist students in their project work
- To organize seminars and workshop jointly
- To share facilities like equipment ,library etc
- To participate in the management of the college

| Entrepreneurship Development centre |

Major objectives:
- To conduct orientation programmes for students and public to attract them into establishing their own enterprises
- To organize training programmes on establishing and managing industrial units
- To organize programmes for women for acquiring special skills So that they can earn while at home
- To organize workshops participating successful entrepreneurs
- To provide assistance to entrepreneurs in getting bank loans ,selection of staff and workers and dealing with day to day problems in their business
