The M.Tech Degree in VLSI & Embedded Systems is offerd by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The course leading to the degree of Master of Technology will span a period of four semester (2 Years). The span of a semester will be six months including the university examination.

Eligibility:

Eligibility will be subject to the rules and regulations of Mahatma Gandhi University / AICTE

• The candidates should have studied in the Graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE / Deemed Universities.
• Candidate with valid GATE score
• The candidates shall have Degree in respective branches of engineering awarded by the Universities of Kerala or equivalent.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination.
• Admission will be purely based on merit. For non gate candidates marks of eligible degree will be considered for merit.
• Candidate who have degree awarded from Universities other than M.G University shall submit Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University as well as Migration Certificate at the time of admission.

Application forms can be had from the College Office on payment of Rs.300 in cash or by post by sending a D.D. for Rs. 350 in favour of the Principal, payable at Palai. It can also be downloaded from the College website and can be submitted along with a DD of Rs. 300/- in favour of "The Principal, St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology, Palai" payable at Pala. Preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE score, who will be eligible for stipend from the AICTE. Non-GATE candidates can also apply.
