FACILITIES IN THE COLLEGE |
| Faculty Houses |
 A Faculty House with 24 double rooms is available in the campus for male staff members. A separate wing in the Ladies Hostel with 2 double rooms are available for lady staff members. Also at St.Augustine's Hostel a separate wing at the ground floor of Block B are available for the lady staff members. |
Student Hostels |
The following hostel facilities are available in the campus:
St. Thomas hostel for boys with 320 seats
St. Augustine's hostel for girls with 260 seats
St. Mary's hostel for girls with 208 seats
Students who are not staying with their parents or close relatives are required to stay in the college hostels only. Permission to stay outside in private hostels and houses will not be generally given.Hostel inmates are expected to follow strictly the hostel rules regarding general discipline and behaviour, study periods, meal timings and other matters. They are also expected to take good care of hostel properties like furniture, toilet and bath-room fittings, electrical accessories, etc. Dismissal or suspension from the hostel is liable to cause dismissal or suspension from the college also. |
Auditorium |
 An auditorium cum multi-purpose building with 1250 seating capacity was inaugurated in February 2006. The two-storied building, with balcony seating facility can accommodate 1260 people and is the lengthiest college auditorium in Kerala. Its main features include a high-tech sound system, motor driven curtain and LCD projector. Apart from hosting all college functions it is used for conducting yoga and meditation sessions, cultural festivals, placement tests, college exams, etc. |
Gymnasium |
 Gymnasium facilities are available for students in the campus. For making use of this facility, students have to join the gymnasium club by paying a fee. Gymnasium facilities are available for ladies students and staffs at St.Mary's Hostels also. |
Computer Centre |
520 computers are provided in the college, which are connected by LAN. A modern well - furnished Computer Centre with necessary accessories are available for use of students. In addition to regular classes in the Computer Centre, students are directed to make the best use of the Computer Centre facilities by taking special training programmes arranged from time to time. An Internet Lab and two other computer labs are also available in the college. The Computer Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all working days of the college.

Electricity Supply |
| The campus has 24 hours power supply. In case of power failure, generators will supply power to the college and hostels. |
College Bus |
 The college has 11 buses and two van for the use of students and staff. Students are expected to stand in queue at the bus stops. They are also expected to behave decently inside the bus . Disciplinary action will be initiated against those who damage the bus. |
Book Store |
| A Book Store functions at the entrance to the Administrative building. Students are expected to buy books and stationery items from the college bookstore which sells only authorized and genuine items. Special discounts and prizes will be given to students who patronize the college bookstore. |
College Canteen |
 Students are expected to take food only from the college canteen. For this, coupons have to be purchased in advance. Taking food from un-hygienic outside food shops may endanger your health. The canteen should not be used as a place for gossip and other leisure activities. Students are expected to leave the canteen as soon as they finish their meals or snacks.. |
Photocopying |
| Photocopying facility is available at the College Book Store on payment basis. |
Telephone Facility |
| A telephone booth is available at the College Canteen for use of students and staff on payment basis. A telephone exchange is functioning in the college campus, which will ensure full-fledged telephone and internet facilities for the college. |
Waiting Rooms |
| Waiting rooms are provided in each building for boys and girls separately. The waiting rooms can be used for rest, study, changing of dress and for taking lunch. |
Vehicle Parking Facilities for Students |
 As per Kerala Government directions, students are not permitted to bring powered vehicles (two-wheelers and four-wheelers) inside the college campus. A parking shed for two-wheeler vehicles is provided on the western side of the college canteen. Students are requested to park their vehicles in this shed or outside the shed. |
Banking Facilities |
An Extension Counter of South Indian Bank is functioning in the campus with fully computerized facilities. ATM facilities will be installed soon. All staff and students of SJCET are account holders of that bank and all financial transactions are processed through the bank. |
