The ENCON GREEN CLUB of SJCET was started by the Electrical Engineering Department to focus its Energy Conservation activities. Effective Energy Utilization & identifying the areas of possible energy conservation at SJCET are the main objectives of ENCON GREEN CLUB.
"Our goal is to be as self reliant as much as possible in energy and water, and for our campus to be an example". ENCON GREEN CLUB was inaugurated on October 12th 2009. 

  ENKOMION’09 was organized by the ENCON GREEN CLUB on 7th and 9th of October 2009 with the events Technical Writing Competition, Painting Competition & Cartooning Competition. Ms. Tessa Theressa Jose of S5 EEE bagged the First Prize for Technical writing Competition. The Painting and Cartooning Competitions were won by Ms.Rose Mary S Palackal of S3EEE.

ENCON - GREEN Club of SJCET decides to focus its activities on the documentation of " Energy Utilization pattern & Identify the areas of Possible Energy Conservation at SJCET" .
