Electrical Engineering Association of the students of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, St.Joseph's College of Engineering & Technology organised its Second National Level Technical Seminar - ELECTRUM CARITEZ'09 on March 7^th 2009. The event was inaugurated by Dr. N.A Jose, former Dean, College of Engineering, Thiruvanthapuram and present Director of Mary Matha College of Engineering, Thiruvanthapuram.

He delivered the keynote address on "POWER SYSTEMS AND RELATED ISSUES" following the formal inauguration. Dr. P.J George, Project Director - SJCET and Prof. P.V Varkey, Head of the Department, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, were also present during the occasion.
