EQUINOX-10 on 18th of September, 2010 had a a stellar line up of events, spanning a range from "PANDORA'S BOX" our in-house special to "ENGINOVA" our loaded delight, "IMAGINEER"our palette ruffle to "KALEIDOSCOPE" a tryst with technology, was a huge success with largest number of external participants' in this college.

EQUINOX '09

Equinox'09, the first Technical symposium of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Department was conducted on 14th March 2009 in the SJCET campus. The symposium was inaugurated by the esteemed guest of the day, Mr. A T Devassia, Ex-vice chancellor, M.G University.The program began by seeking the blessings of Almighty with a prayer followed by inaugural address at 9.30am in the seminar hall of the college.
The main events of the technical symposium were Thesis ( Paper presentation),Envision ( Project Exhibition), Versus (Network Gaming), Techkeygen (Treasure Hunt).

The events commenced with paper presentation at 10.30am, followed by project exhibition, Network gaming and Techkeygen.
A total prize money worth Rs. 17000/- was bagged by participants from various colleges across the state.There were a total of 60 external registrations from 18 different colleges across the state. College of Engineering, Trivandrum Bagged the overall with their outstanding performance. The program concluded with the valedictory function at 4.30pm. On the whole, the program was a great success.
