PITSTOP is an automobile exhibition organised by the 2012-2016 Mechanical Engineering students under the guidance of Prof. Babusanker.S. The exhibition aims at providing an idea about the automobile parts including its constructional and functional features. This exhibition mainly aims at the first year students to get an idea about the IC Engine parts. The parts are clearly explained and videos associated to automobile parts are also shown for reference. This gives the student a clear idea about what they have seen in textbooks or something they have heard about. The idea aroused from the students is highly appreciable and in its first edition in 2013 PITSTOP had a great recognition from all. The PITSTOP was inaugurated by Dr. P.J. George, Project Director, SJCET and was considered to be the best among the exhibitions held at SJCET. The students, under the guidance of Prof. Babusanker. S had worked wholeheartedly for the success of the programme. The second edition of the exhibition will be conducted shortly.
